I'm pleased to inform you that a member of your faculty, Dr. Chris Hill, is a finalist for this year's UT Alumni Association Outstanding Teacher award. . .According to my department chair, this is an award that one needs multiple nominations for. In her words, "it's a really big deal just to be nominated."

What a great honor Chris. You have truly found your "passion" in life as a teacher. I am so incredibly happy for you. As your Dad I guess it also OK for me to say I am proud of you. Anxious to see how it turns out!
There are lots of us who already know you are a "big deal" in lots of areas. So proud of you.
