Awesome -- you know, there was some book Hambone got for me that was all about the collapsible dichotomy between Japanese civilization and the function of the bakemono.

Sounds like an awesome book. Maybe I should order an 'exam copy' for that japanese civ course I'm teaching . . . you know, with all my expertise in that area. . .
