All Hail the Pigskin

I'm sitting in my chair, watching Dallas play Indianapolis. Praise the Lord, the long walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Baseball is over, and we can finally watch a sport worth watching! A sport in which every game is an event!

And yes, I know, some of you college football snobs will sniff that it's "only" the NFL--but hey, at least the NFL has, you know, a playoff system.

FOOOOOOOOOTBAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!

What the heck is the "valley of the shadow of baseball"??? Now that Atlanta is truly in the race and is playing some magnificent baseball we are getting excited down here in the ATL. David will be at the ball park tonight to watch the Braves beat up on Barry "who the heck cares" Bonds and the Giants. We just need to get some help from some other teams to beat the Mets & Phillies and we will be on top again!!!
I know you guys love football and I also look forward to Saturdays this Fall but until the first of October we are still pulling for Chipper, Frenchy, Tex, McCann, and Smoltzy to pull off a late summer miracle.
Remember what made Amercia great = baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet!!!!!

Enjoy your football abd once in a while say a prayer for the good guys - "GO BRAVES"!!!!

Hey, I can't complain about baseball when the Cubbies are doing pretty good at the moment.

AU has a lousy schedule this year. It's embarrassing.

We'll have a playoff system someday, and then you can't feel so superior. ;)
