Well, the emotional struggle I detailed below has calmed, and I now find myself in a good position--because it seemed like a challenge. And in response to that challenge, I find that I'm working and teaching with a new passion--reading more, speaking with more self-assurance, even doing paperwork with more alacrity. So.
