Bitter the taste in my mouth

Just returned from the conference with the people at Number One Son's school.  His IQ scores weren't even close.  His OTHER scores weren't even close.  Either we've just been mistaken all along, or the results of the tests weren't all that reliable.

I'm not disappointed in the boy, but I am disappointed that my expectations and hopes were so out of line with reality.

Define reality. Given J's personality and character, is reality a comfortable, familiar environment with people he knows or is it a strange person, asking strange questions in a strange room? We know what he is capable of and we celebrate who he is and disregard the "numbers" attached to so many "standardized testing" evaluations. He is still our wonderful Jonathan and is dearly loved by all who know him. M-I-L
