The Buzzard and I laughed ourselves sick and scared at least one of the cats. This was the quote that set us off -- part of a comment about the KFC Famous Bowl: Perhaps it was simply the realization that we, as a society, have officially become too lazy to mix up our own food.
The only thing missing from these things are straps to hook onto our ears so we can eat directly from the bowl so as not to expend too much energy operating a spork.
The finishing move was the fast food review on Arby's and his description of their, er, beef.
"I am grown at length to see into the vanity of the world more than ever I did, and now I condemn myself for nothing so much as playing the dolt in print . . . . There is nothing that if a man list he may not wrest or pervert. I cannot forbid any to think villainously, Sed caveat emptor, let the interpreter beware; for none ever heard me make allegories of an idle text."
