Gentle Sir Philip Sidney, thou knew'st what belong'd to a scholler; thou knew'st what pains, what toil, what travail conduct to perfection.

Life with a Toddler, Vol. 25
We have an announcement. Late last week, The Little Boy decided it was time for Thomas and Elmo underwear. As of today, we've gone 3 or 4 straight days without a single accident. Both 'numbers,' if you know what I mean.

All it takes is a little motivation! One certainly does not want to dirty up Thomas or Elmo underwear.
I remember the famous line from Calvin when he couldn't find the right underwear in his drawer: "Grrrr, I hate it when I can't gird my loins with cartoon characters!" - or something like that.
Congratulations to the little one and it is just another indication that he is growing up fast! Enjoy these days - they are precious!
"I am grown at length to see into the vanity of the world more than ever I did, and now I condemn myself for nothing so much as playing the dolt in print . . . . There is nothing that if a man list he may not wrest or pervert. I cannot forbid any to think villainously, Sed caveat emptor, let the interpreter beware; for none ever heard me make allegories of an idle text."
